His first performing act:  Achilles and Frank, enjoyed a national hit with “The Two Peddler Men,” a song written by Ralph Achilles.  The duo appeared nationally on The Joey Bishop Show and headlined Playboy Clubs Int.  They toured colleges nationally as well as headlining in Southeast Asia on a major tour of niteclubs.  They recorded two more 45rpm singles, one of which “As We Do Today” reached the top ten in 15 cities.  This was also an original song by Achilles.

Achilles and Frank produced and recorded 2,000 radio commercials for a gasoline company, each of which was identified with their names.  These commercials made them household names in twelve western states for a period of ten years.

The duo added a lady to the act and became:  Frank, Achilles, and Bonnie, F.A.B. COMPANY.  FAB COMPANY’s first hit recording was “Watermelon Is A King’s Delight”, a song written by Achilles which remained on the active play list of hundreds of radio stations for over a year and launched the group as one of the top college draws of the early seventies.  FAB COMPANYS music is still played today on many radio stations across the nation.  They recorded four extremely successful albums before disbanding in 1982.  At that time RALPH ACHILLES developed into a stand-up comic.  Although he still peppers his act with his own songs, he has recorded three albums of comedy.

RALPH has had his own television special: “On Stage with Achilles,” and has headlined in niteclubs and major venues throughout his career.  He has performed for hundreds of corporate shows across the United States such as IBM, AT&T, Allstate, Coors, and many, many more.  At times he poses as an executive with the company for which he is performing.
